1. Get Clear On Your Goal

Before you do anything, make sure that you have your goals set and set deep in your mind. Without a specific clear goal in mind, it is difficult to achieve anything in life. A good goal should be one that is SMART;

S – Specific

M – Measurable

A – Attainable

R – Realistic

T – Time frame given

2. Learn What Produces Results and What Does Not

Know what activities delivers you the results and which ones delivers the best results. Identify them and do these activities again and again and gain. Network Marketing/ MLM is all about repetition and duplication. Successful Marketers only do a few activities and they excel in those activities.

3. Work Your Business First Thing In The Morning

Set aside time for your business in the morning before your go to work. So that you know that your day is fruitful and fulfilling. Don’t leave it to the end of the day when you are tired from work. You have to be disciplined to do this in order to achieve success in the business.

4. Don’t Get Creative

Network Marketing /MLM have existed for a very long time. The ways of doing this business are proven, don’t try to be creative and think of new ways to do the business. Follow the ways that made people successful rather than trying to “reinvent the will”. Leave the creative ideas to people who have time.

5. Create System For Generating Leads

Since you will not have a lot of time to do the business, you should follow a tried and tested system to generate new leads for your business. This gives you more time to do other activities in your to do list. Some ways to generate leads offline are referrals, telemarketing, generating leads online takes less effort and is more dynamic. You can use article marketing, social networking, etc.. to generate your leads.

This past week we had the carpets shampooed in our home. Our cat Finn has sparked the question for this article. It is our practice to remove as much of the furniture as possible, moving most of it out onto the front veranda. This leaves all of the corners empty and Finns behavior was extremely fun and interesting to watch.

He had to investigate each and every corner, running like a whirlwind from corner to corner and in some corners actually running up the wall. Plus he would also spend a little quiet time in each corner, lie down, stretch out facing into the room and just survey his territory. He reminded me of a lion laying down and watching out over his pride.

He was curious, adventurous and taking lots of action! Something like you were when you were a kid.

We lose our curiosity as we get older, society programs it out of you and you become part of the 97% of people who retire at the age of 65 dead or dead broke. You have to fight to be a part of the 3% and you have to fight hard. That battle can be fought and won with curiosity.

If you commute to work on a daily bases, go a different way, you may discover a shorter route or one that is a much more pleasant drive.

Be curious about your own vision or dream. Think about it, expand upon it, mull it over in your heart and share it with others. When you are curious about your dream you can make it come true rather than settling for what life gives you. Fight for success instead of settling for failure!

Today, every second or third person you meet could be part of one or the other MLM or Network Marketing company in India. These, I can go to the extent of stating, are the ones who are ‘Living the right way in the 21th century.

Even as I Congratulate all those who are affiliated already to Network Marketing trend, may I pose a million-dollar question to the others? How about you, What is it that stopped you from not associating with this burgeoning trend?

Well, you need not have to worry, Written for people who belong to both the categories for those who are already a part of this industry, and for those who are going to be part of this industry, sooner or later. The third category does not exist!

For those who are already part of this Industry.

Network Marketing is unique in nature, it is a process of continuous learning. I would structure it thus Learn first, work smart next and then be a Winner. This is an inviolable sequence!

And for those who are going to be part of this Industry

To let you know everything that you ever wanted to know about this fastest-growing industry, which is now hitting the headlines, there is every chance that you will read paeans and success stories related to this industry.

But the real question you must ask is why should you think you are going to be a part of Network Marketing, must tell you a thing or two about why one must consider being a part.

We all will be part of the Network Marketing in two unique ways!

1) Either by being a Distributor or an Representative of any one of these so called opportunity providing companies. Let us label this as Choice No one.

2) The other way is by being a customer or an end user of the products and services made available by such companies through the network of such Distributors or Representative. Let this be Choice No two.

As I told you, since there is not third category, either way you have no escape!

We are at the threshold and the revolution is gradually picking up pace, quite like a fast bowler warming up before sending down that 90 mph plus cricket ball!
